Karen Hardy Studios, Day One

The dream is finally becoming a reality, Karen Hardy and husband Conrad Murray, the ‘Posh and Becks’ of the dance world have signed on the dotted line.

It’s official! They are the proud owners of a state of the art dance studio in Chelsea, Imperial Wharf. London’s best kept secret.

The building is so fresh; you won’t find chewing gum on these pavements. Imperial Wharf has a hidden NCP car park, a Marks & Spencers opposite, exquisite restaurants as neighbours, the Thames as their garden and would you believe, a ‘helipad’ across the water. Just in case Sir Alan fancies a Waltz!

The next challenge for Karen Hardy Studios shall be to keep a watchful eye on the builders as they start creating the most glamorous dance studio in the UK. Building work starts September 22nd so we have stocked up on the Tetley! No expense has been spared, from the huge plasma televisions to the crystal Swarovski door handles..

Karen is clearly Wonder Woman; not only is she appearing in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing as dance partner to award winning chef, Gary Rhodes where she is rehearsing 6+ hours a day, she is coaching professional dancers, doing numerous TV / Radio interviews AND being a loving wife and mother. It’s inspirational to watch this super hero duo speak to Architects, write timetables, interview potential dance instructors, brainstorm the perfect gift packages and choose a colour scheme for the Starbucks and Licensed bar.

Think we can all agree, the best christmas present for their incredible hard work would be to launch the dance studio December 9th 2008.

One thing is for sure, it will not be easy to shout ‘last orders at the bar’ in this venue!
