A New Years message from Karen Hardy

Hello to everyone in 2010…

Back in one very emotional series of Strictly Come Dancing I came off the floor all flustered after a fantastic dance. As Tess Daley was interviewing Ramps and I, with some 12,000,000 viewers watching, I somehow didn’t filter what I was thinking and let out the words; “I wish I could teach the world to dance”. It was an emotional moment as the dance had felt fantastic, the audience had erupted and I could see this huge smile on Mark’s face as he was really enjoying the moves I had given him to experience. I just wanted everyone else to enjoy the magic feeling of dance with me. Well a few years later I am now not ashamed of those words that I expressed so naively. Now I am working hard to make it my mission in 2010 to really get behind my statement and turn those words into reality. Opening our studio has been a first big step and after one year’s trading we have nearly 300 students dancing. Throughout the year I will be regularly sharing my journey with you all so keep in touch with this newsletter and enjoy travelling around this world of dance with me.

Happy New Year everyone, call your local dance studio NOW, yes right now and go and learn to dance!

Karen Hardy
